I guess nobody here other than Frater is up to the challenge. Maybe I should have posted something political.

"I like it, it has a crazy carnival clown gone berserk sort of feel..."
Thats funny, but it sums up the manic energy in the song.
Glad you are remaining creative and are expanding your horizons.. Keep it up.

With it's genbre described as 'Experimetal' I was expecting not to like it, but actually I did. It's a well put together piece.

See? Good for you Andy. You had low expectations and you checked it out anyway, and low and behold you liked it! I'd say you successfully challenged yourself. There's a lot of stuff on here I found I like that is nowhere near anything I would normally listen to. You have to listen with open ears and mind. Seems like too many here shut me down because of my associated genre. Too bad.
You know I could be just another singer/songwriter fellow with a lone acoustic... and while there might be some good songs in that category, there's no originality.

Don't get me wrong Jeff I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm just saying that, especially here at IAC, that's not rare... know what I mean?

Just had another I listen an tried to hink about why I liked it, first off gut instinct, as I listen I thought yeah that's good.
Then being more analytical I'd say it has an interesting mix of textures, a lot of melody, and it develolope well progressing from section to section without boring the listener.
The good thing about IAC is you can come across stuff like this, out of your normal comfort zone, but still good, and worth listening too.
Threads like this are good as they can bring stuff to your attention that you might not have listened too otherwise. I probably wouldn't have picked this out of the newsongs list if I'd noticed it, not on genre de_scription alone, although I might have because I've listened to other stuff by you that I've liked.

"Threads like this are good as they can bring stuff to your attention that you might not have listened too otherwise."
That's what I'm trying to do anyways... that pretty much defines IAC for me.
Andy thanks for having another listen and giving some feedback, especially on this tune. It's pretty far stylistically from what you do so I think it's even cooler you took the time to have a couple real listens. On top of that you were open minded enough to look past the genre and find something you actually liked... I just think that's pretty neat.
It all comes back to the fact that there is only two types of music, good and bad.
