Love that song. Seems like it's never played out. Cute fuckin' kittie with the deer, dude. Had to show that to my kids, It's Total Disney-style but sweet as FUCK.
Hey- Do you think Tom Waits is like the reincarnation of Louie's voice sometimes? Check out You can Never Hold back Spring on IAC.....
He has done MULTIPLE vocal styles over the years, of course, like many of us at IAC....but he seems to REALLY gravitate to this "kiss to Louie A." voice, a lot. Opinion?

Hi Jesse,
This is one of my favorite songs. Several years ago when my grandmother was in the process of passing... she was in and out of a morphine induced state of coherence... when she would fade back in and gather enough strength to speak... she had stated that she was unable to get this song out of her head. It struck me as ironic that at the end of her life with all the difficulties that her life encompassed, having lived through the era she had, having lived many years alone after my grandfathers passing... that one of her final thoughts was how wonderful this world was that she was about to leave. This song always brings a smile to my face and my heart.
A friend once shared with me the song 'You Can Never Hold Back Spring'... it has a special place in my heart... and also reminds me very much of Louis' song.
Happy Love Day All...!!!

Phlegm, whoa... that's crazy! I thought it WAS Louis at first until I listened a little more... that's nuts, I never noticed that before.
They both have the throaty rough thing going... pretty cool. That's a nice little tune aslo, never heard that one before, thanks for the link!

Thanks for showing us that beautiful video. Cats can show so much love to other creatures. My cat Billee loves to sit on top of me and lick my hands, so loving.

Billie? Jill you mean the calico cat?
Hmmm... that's funny 'Cause Grommit does the SAME thing, and she's a calico!
Must be in their nature. Or is environment or heredity???? tee heee -who the fuck knows!
I've heard a calico cat familiar, is like a GOOD Luck Charm.
Lord knows, I need a little bit more !!!!
mmmmm... I do so love those Lucky Charms.... They're magically delicious, you know.
NOW back to Louie Armstrongs - GREAT & timeless tune...... ROCK!
