Self Destruct Sequence
This tune has been freshly remixed and remastered with an all new bass track by bass wiz Tricko hailing from Serbia. Grega's on guitars and drum sequencing, and I'm on keys, rhythm guitar and production. This version absolutely SMOKES the original and I really dig the international collab vibe. Three dudes, three countries, one song. The level of musicianship in this song is ridiculous. I still can't believe I'm on this track with these guys. They are masters of their craft and lord knows I don't know what the hell I'm doing, haha. Enjoy!

Kudos to you and all involved. Great work. Sounds like you guys had way too much fun!
Was the drum sequencing done on the Boss recorder? Were the guitars played direct?
Inquiring minds want to know! I'm getting a little tired of recording on my computer. The Boss seems like a nice machine. With good bouncing, those 16 trcks can always be expanded.

Thanks man. It was fun for sure! The drum sequencing was done by Grega on a program called Addictive Drums on his computer. The drum sounds on the Boss are pretty cheesy but the audio loops are good and you can stretch them also. My guitars were played direct using the on board COSM modeling amps. Grega uses a Line 6 amp that he mics I believe. He sent me a wav with the drums, his guitars, my keys and Trickos bass mixed in and from there I added my guitars and EQ'd everything on the Boss, then recorded/mastered it with that Sony burner I was telling you about.
What is track bouncing anyways?

BTW Rich all my guitars are direct and everything recently has been recorded using a modified Rectifier model on the Boss I've edited to my liking... so Drone, The Circus Left Town, Second Chance, all that stuff is recorded direct with the Boss. :)

Jesse - bouncing is fun but save a copy of the song in case you make a bounce that you don't like because you can't undo it. Don't record on tracks 1 an 2. Record on tracks 3 - 14 and then mix them to tracks 1 and 2. You will now have a stereo mix of trcks 3 -14 on tracks 1 and 2.
re-record over tracks 3 - 14 and start recording new parts onto them. Then mix the whole thing down to your CD burner. That's one way you can get more tracks. If you can't do this internally then just make a stereo mix of tracks 3 -14 onto a CD and then route it to tracks 1 and 2 and record the mix. Then you can start recording over tracks 3 -14 and burn a CD of the final combo of tracks.
