Will somebody please explain to me how today is any different than yesterday?
Or the day before, or the day before, or the day before...
"I believe I can see the future, cuz I repeat the same routine."
"The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth."
I gotta get out of here...

"Life is a memory; this moment has passed."
-Todd Leiter-Weintraub
Just get out there and MAKE it different!
Even in the smallest ways.
Have your burger medium rare, instead of medium.
Listen to your second-favorite album instead of your favorite.
Take lunch at 12:30 instead of 12:00.
Pretty soon, you'll find yourself turning left instead of right.
Saying "yes" instead of "no."
And having a more interesting time, if not a better time.
Although, you may have a better time.
But you'll never know, unless you start.

Well ....
Steve Ison knew that Lou Reed knew ...
and then ... The Broken Remotes found Lou Reed's Drugs ... my my ...
so ... Horus8 & The Werewolves didn't mind Mugging Lou Reed ...
but don't worry ... as Michael Penn points out ... there's always Walter Reed
Oh yeah .... didn't you read the quote of the day Jesse ...

It's up to you to make today different than yesterday.
If you want tomorrow to be different than today, do something different today that will give you a different outcome tomorrow. It works everytime. :-)

Geez Jesse, I just realized something,. as I was walking , a light came on, no I dont have a day job true, I have though ,and worked my damn ass off doing it, and I had those days, I know your feelings man, been there,. .....but I apologise for what I said, you are an amazing individual, and have some fantastic talents and abilities......I sense you are frustrated. and so is Frater.....I take that last part out of that post.....I should have said you all sound frustrated, maybe discouraged.....we, I cant know your feelings...and I had no right to say what I said....except the state of mind thing...its hard, damn I know, I have suffered through crap in my life and had to overcome it. serious bad stuff.....I aint getting into it here., but I forged ahead and tried to make something of my life.....so no offense on my comments , but your comment was kinda cryptic or else I should have read the quote . which I didnt, sometimes I wish Auset would jump in here more often, cause she always had a way , I just did a knee-jerk reaction.and that was just stupid

If any of us found out tomorrow we had Cancer, all the trivial worries, bitches, and gripes would be meaningless.... the worry about the future, the frustrations of life and the mundane would melt away... the concentration would be on remaining alive for all the beauty life presents.
Yes this thought has been put to song "Live like you're dying". But it is not an original thought...however, it is profound!!!
How does the saying go??
"Yesterday is but today's memory, and tomorrow is today's dream. ... Today is a gift - which is why they call it the present"
So true........

Yep, today's just like yesterday...my "new" tune wasn't on the Hitline yesterday, and it isn't on there today, either. I keep checkin, checkin, checkin, but it's always the same - no go. It's very discouraging, isn't it?
Dammit, Tosoff! Will you pleeeeeze quit apologizing!?

Jesse,
Every line you wrote in prenthesis to start this blog could be used in lyrics to a song, so don't give me that crap dude.
You took the time to write it, so take the time to change your day to Your liking...........
I know what you can do,.....
Grab the first person that pisses you off and bitch slap 'em. Then go put how good it feels on paper, and put your amp on 8-10 and play till your fingers hurt.
Make sure the recorder is on though! Hahahahaa
Dude, If you wake up, the new day is different already.
If you can put tomorrow in a bottle, you could own the world...................
D.

I feel the pain.
But can't "wallow in my own shit" for long.....
Sometimes I just GOTTA get out some pASSiOn and AgReSSiOn, completely BALLZZZZ OUT !!!
Just do some fuckin' CRUNCHIN' guitar work, and sing your ass off man; sometimes it'll do the trick.

you're feeling old, eh?
time is a continuous river and
river of time and tide wait for no one
funny how my perceptions have grown in a twisted way where I can see all my life at once. all the past and all the future (pretty much).
except I can't because I can bend my memory and my future to my desire
and there is always a lovely young pretty woman to hire
she arrives and I take her down
into the area to play under her crown
she goes down well under my hood
she knows just what to do with wood
so there is always a tomorrow as long as there is hope of an erection and orgasm
but if you suffer erectile difficulities on a permanent basis, then I agree, there is no point in living

My life work now is to turn the tide of vegetarianism and urge people to eat more meat. Lots of meat. Tons of meat. And peanuts. But no veggies. Veggies are people too. Especially corn. "Lend me your ear" and all that.

Oh what the hay! I might as well join in on the quotes and corny cliche's.
Here's one........"You can't expect to meet the challenges of today with yesterday's tools and expect to be in business tomorrow." unknown
