Living like you have nothing to lose
Occasionally in this life we run into people who are casting their fate to the wind, pursuing their dreams. These people are always surrounded by envy, because there are so many others who secretly yearn to go in the same direction but for some reason or another, will never quite get around to it.
I've been pondering a small dream of my own. It's one of those things that by definition requires going way out on a limb. It will take a lot of life energy yet is almost totally likely to be one of those things that is maybe appreciated by a small few but will never see the true daylight like most indie endeavors. But you got to not care. An artist that's worth his or her salt does something because he needs to, not to *succeed*.
Go forth young man. Do what you feel. You have nothing to lose. Make your own blood flow.

Go for it ! .... The best view is ALWAYS way out on the edge of a limb ... and it's a lot less crowded out there too ...

that is unless your a marshmellow Sam.
anyone ever read the book.. the giving tree?
Edit:
In case you haven't....you get to the end and the tree becomes a stump because of greed, in some strange metaphoric way the tree although had nothing more to give, was still glad.

as artists (as people) we feel like that tree at times... but then I hear Anjuli sing.. give said the little stream and suddenly my symbol turns into a water wheel....
