The deep nadir that occurs when nobody is excited about their own music

The amount of energy being generated doesn't inspire me to listen. Strangers show up for a day to pitch their wares. One guy acts thrilled with his song but he's really only trying to see how awful he can be, he wants some attention, doesn't deserve any.

As a listener this reminds me of when my father used to take me deer hunting. We'd sit all day in the snowy woods waiting for the big buck to cross our paths but none ever did.

I'm going back to the lodge dad, to sit by the fireplace and drink cocoa. There aren't any bucks in these woods.

The big buck are hiding in trees, if you go back and drink cocoa you will never find them.
