Sky Rider
You know how sometimes you will see that cloud drifting across the sky. It has so much purpose and personality. Its more than a cloud,its a Sky Rider. Thats the idea behind the song.
I have always been fascinated by the link between clouds and human emotions, one of my favourite shows was Dark Skies (being as Si Fi addict). The way the state of the Sky can be a metaphor for the emotional state of humanity,
Also the diference in the behaviour of clouds in the diferent zones of the Earth, The imensity of the gigantic cumulus at the equator compared to the low thunder clouds nearer the poles.
The song tries to convey the random eratic motion of a small cloud scudding across the sky. Its message could be if you get derpressed or bogged down "when routine bites hard" look up at the sky.
Nigels is a one piece bedroom mix project in country South Aus. It aims for solid production values on an unrealistic budget.
