My heart goes out to buskers
If you busk that includes you.
Recently I heard a great sound in the street and followed it to a young guy busking. I dropped a dollar in his case and I noticed mine was the largest coin in there, he nodded thanks but he looked real down. A shopkeeper said he'd been there for 4 hours. I think his songs were original.
I like to give when I can and I make sure to tell them how good they are and wish them luck.
I just received an email from the CEO, that's why I decided to look in again. I spent the past year traveling as I have family on every continent, that saves money on hotels at least.

Hi Ms. Lewin,
That is sad about the buskers. I don't know we have many in Omaha, except for the outdoor events in the summer or maybe in our Old Market district. When they moved to Liverpool in 2014, the MonaLisa Twins did a lot of busking. They even did some outside the Cavern Club during International Beatleweek. The following year they were one of the headline bands inside during Beatleweek and also a main residency band on Saturday night at the Cavern.
If you like ABBA (my All-Time #3 Band after #1 Moody Blues and #2 Beatles), have you ever heard of STEPS from the U.K? Their heyday was in the late 90's, but they have re-united and produced an incredible new album this year! Their main inspiration is ABBA, and if we didn't know better we would think they were the kids of Benny and Agnetha and Bjorn and Anna-Frid. I refer to them as ABBA 2.0! Make sure you Google (or Bing) them.
As a Nebraskan, but not a musician, I am a Husker, but not a Busker. I appreciate your post!
