Who is E Reece?
I'm simply a music lover at heart. I first fell in love with music as a youngster. It seemed like it was always playing. The radio dictated who we listened to, so Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson, Prince & Stevie Wonder were early favorites. I fell in love with jazz in middle school and soon Gerry Mulligan and all of the various cool jazz musicians of the 60's opened up many new doors for me. Soon after came hip hop and I've never stopped loving it since. From the early days of the Sugar Hill Gang, Kool Mo D, RUN DMC & The Beastie Boys to the golden era of KRS One, Big Daddy Kane, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul & Public Enemy, the culture has held my attention like a pre-schooler watching Sesame Street. Growing up playing jazz saxophone, turned into a growing career as a hip hop artist who appreciates and acknowledges where hip hop came from. I continue to spread the real culture to the masses, from my heart, mind & soul to your heart, mind & soul, while staying true to my roots, telling the truth and keeping my integrity! From Maryland to Los Angeles to the world!
