IsMcCain-Lieberman the winning ticket?
I think Bobby Jindal is the rising star in Republican ranks but has ruled out accepting a VP slot and woulf probably be seen as to young step in as president in a worst case scenario though I have no doubt he's qualified for the job.
A better choice is Joe Lieberman, he'll definitely carry most of Hilary's voting bloc which will really dim the lights on Obam's chances this fall, and he's probably better qualified to lead than McCain.
I think it's the winning ticket myself but time will tell. The good news is that Joe Lieberman is actively campaigning for John McCain at this moment.

I don't think he's baiting him. That is unless he's the only one allowed to post political threads.
Did you ask Holo where his music is?
I think this blog is a celebration of the freedoms we enjoy. Something I'm thankful and grateful for.
It allows people like Holo to use a fake name, fake avatar, fake location, be completely anonymous - while insulting, liping people off, and posting slanderous political threads on a daily basis and calling McCain, Bush, and other members of government "moron's," "war mongers" "idiots" and every other insult in the book.
All the while maintaining his complete anonymity, but he's eager to try and guess other people's names.
See he wants to be in complete control of everything, while being anonymous so there's no accountability for his slander. He can hide behind the safety of his computer while he does it. If I'm going to call McCain and idiot and a war monger and an moron, I'll do it to his face, or I'll at least do it with an accountable identity.
Any sane, rational man with testicles would consider his actions, those of a coward.

The Democratic Party is in serious disarray at the moment, Hilary is still flatly refusing to release her delegates and with a McCain - Lieberman ticket her bloc can still be heard by voting for Lieberman, I guess McCain's Maverick strategy might really pay big dividends this fall.
Some shenanigans are going on in Ohio though which could spell trouble. Seems the Dems want people to be able to register and vote and the same time with no ID requirements which of course means massive voting fraud, hopefully that won't happen.
Can two grandfathers swing the 18-34 year old vote which Obama still has a comfortable lead? Since that shift is already in progress with Obama losing about 20% of that supportI think it will be done.
Yeah, I do think McCain-Lieberman is the winning ticket for this fall..

I doubt you've lived in this country long Holo or have ever stepped foot in it because you sure are out of step with American culture. No one has their hands bound by party affiliation and politicians break ranks routinely on issues they feel strongly about. Ronald Reagan was originally a Democrat and switching parties didn't hurt his future. Lieberman has every right to be McCain's running mate and if the happens anytime soon there could be some big surprises in Denver. Remember that Obama gained many of his Super-Delegates by vowing to appose H.R.6304 and after they threw their support behind him largely based on that pledge he voted in support of that Bill anyway which has angered ALOT of his supporters Holo.
So what might that mean Holo? It means those Super-Delegates are not bound by their original vote and just might make the presumptive nominee out of luck far sooner than November.
Personally I don't think that will happen but nothing surprises me in politics. But the threat of huge bloc of Democrats voting Republican this fall could make it happen.

not because they'll get more votes, but because they'll get enough that tactics like this
http://www.gregpalast.com/obama-doesn%E2%80%99t-sweat-he-should/
will tip the scales.
Really, I think Lieberman should have been thrown the hell out of the Democratic party a year ago, the fucking guy has stabbed the party in the back consistently.
McCain is obviously mentally impaired, I don't understand haw he gets a pass on the outrageous stuff he says while Obama is under the microscope. A recent media survey of the top 3 news outlets showed that 24% or McCain coverage was critical while 76% of Obama coverage was critical.
What we will get in this scenario is a presidency run from the VPs office (again).
This whole Georgia Russia scenario is creepy as hell. Why does no one mention that it was Georgia that just Invaded Ossetia!!!, they started this aggression and I cant imagine they would have the balls to poke the Bear if they hadn't gotten the nod from the US. and now it's being covered like Russia invaded Georgia unprovoked..
and McCain is being touted as "the guy who will stand against Russia"
fuck
There are rediculous Op Ed pieces in the goddam politics section of CNN today that are just making shit up!
This is the card the GOP had up their sleeve.
Provoke a war in an area that the public doesn't understand, and area that coincidentally sits on the worlds second largest oil reserve.. and play it of ass McCain the courageous Cowboy vs Obama the pacifist ...
I'm telling you, with the media behind McCain on this the the states purging Democratic voters by the hundreds of thousands, and we're going to have another 8 years of Imperial Oil Policy...
Obama doesn't have a chance in hell against this...
I'll still vote for him (Obama) and support him and knock on doors and whatever, but I think this election is Stolen from this day forth.

What I did do though was download Obama's voting record as senator in Ill & Washington and what that reveals is Obama is a extreme leftist which I guess is his right but he's been less than honest about that.
Think about it seriously for a moment Holo. You've got a young family and all the sudden you find a convicted sex offender has moved into the neighborhood after gaining "early release for good time", your children must walk past porn shops on their way to school (which are often magnets for perverts to frequent) and while in the school your children go to free access to pornography is allowed on the computers in the school library. And at some point point your under age daughter gets knocked up but you don't need to know about that Holo.., because any adult will have the legal right to transport your underage daughter across state lines for the purpose of an abortion..
This is the great vision of the future Obama has for your family Holo..

That's not what I asked for. That vote has a lot of complexity attached to it. My cousin tried to put parental guidance on her pc for her kids and it blocked almost every useful function of a pc, most safeguards available don't really address the issue properly.
Also there's the issue about whether or not it was deemed appropriate for the governmental body Obama was voting within there to put requirements on what a school board chooses to do. Maybe your issue is with that specific school board.

An intelligent well-reasoned discussion of the issues! What fun!
Back in the day ... fist fights used to frequently break out on the floor of Congress.
I think Obama would kick McCain's butt big time ... primarily because due to his torture, McCain can't raise his arms over his head ... and Obama is taller than McCain.
McCain might be able to do some pretty good damage to Obama's mid-section ... but he wouldn't be able to protect his head.
So I give Obama the edge in a fight.
