I'll say given the fact Putin's offer of allowing the system if manned by Russians was rejected as was also the offer to put it in Kazakhstan which make far more sense as locations go, I'd say 100-1 says they'll take it out.

Will it mean WWIII? I doubt it but don't be surprised if Russia's military moves back into much of Central Europe.

I think Nato should fold their tent myself and let the Europeans manage their own affairs.There's just 2 rules in war that have to be remembered.. Don't invade China and don't mess with Russia.

I agree with you totally on that last part. This is idiotic foreign policy. There's got to be an agenda behind it. I believe Bush and Cheney are forcing this missile shield issue deliberately because they know Russia will take it out and this will give a boost to McCain as this last week has shown.

I don't think it has anything to do with McCain, that system won't be completed till long after the next president is elected. I think there's plenty of time left for diplomacy to alter the present course and hopefully the Polish electorate will send the idiot making such stupid decisions packing his bags for home soon.

The Russians are pretty easy to get along with, just keep your guns as far away from them as possible and all will be fine.

Pat Buchanan wrote an interesting analogy of the situation with Russia where he put's their shoes on our feet.. Definitely worth reading because we are playing with something far more dangerous than fire..
