Beats, Production, Demo Recordings...
1) NO YOU CAN NOT HAVE FREE BEATS! I am well aware that you..re the hottest artist of the century, and you're going to go diamond as soon as you ""get on"", because u the sssshhh...and I know, you work with the hottest producers, but I regretfully must decline your offer.
2) NO YOU CAN NOT HAVE FREE BEATS! I'm sorry you're a starving artist. You should probably get a better paying job. But just because you're starving, doesn't mean I have to starve right along with you.
3) NO YOU CAN NOT HAVE FREE BEATS! You're right. I'm not Timbaland, nor Dr. Dre. If I were, I'd be charging you a minimum of $250,000 for a track. Since the fact has already been established that I am NOT them, I will only charge you a FRACTION of the prices they do.
4) NO YOU CAN NOT HAVE FREE BEATS! Why should I give you my beats, so you can rap on them, and then SELL your album/mixtape to other people? What, you can make money off my music, but I can't? Hell naaaww
5) NO YOU CAN NOT HAVE FREE BEATS! I license music to labels with budgets. I license music to SERIOUS artists who are willing to invest in their craft. If none of the above apply to you, then please DO NOT CONTACT ME.

YOU HAVE BEEN READING YOUR OWN PRESS CLIPPINGS!!! Sometimes you have to give to get...Karma, heard of it? I gave away some beats to people who wanted to do some work with my music awhile back. I felt that they were talented artists in their right and we could make some good music together. So I gave them some of my work and we created a good song..."Dear Momz ft. 2mental & Jewelz". Heard of it? Look it up. Because of that collab and other music given for free, some good things are happening. We beacme a group and maybe some history can be made...Because some very talented people cannot afford to buy some music, good music may never be heard...at least from you. The money will come...and go right by you without you knowing it. Think about that before you post next time. Peace.

P.S. And you are.....and you do what???

By the way all music on our upcoming album was given to the artists FOR FREE. Even by other productions because they believe they will reap the rewards later and they will. You have to plant the seed first before you can get to the fruit...

Way to lay it on the line SlimDog! I was amused by this post as well. I'd rather just compose my own beats, ya know? Way to bring out the give to get side o' music. You are truly da man! -pHLeGm

Soooo, what your saying is, you're not hooking me up with a free beat?? Dammit!

I was once an avid follower of this thing we call Hip-Hop, and I was (and still am) happy to give out free beats. For one, I'm never gonna use them and two it's a great way to get your stuff heard. Besides, let's be realistic, a lot of beats are slapped together in like what, 5 minutes? Not to take anything away from beatmakers, but I was one and I know the work it takes to make a loop, and the work it takes to actually record a song with many different parts and instruments, and they don't really compare. Now I know many of you put a lot of hard work and dedication into beats, don't get me wrong... it's just that I've stood on both sides of the fence.

For the record, if anyone wants an original beat, holler!

Word is bond like James
