There is no comparison between a guy who explains his thinking and gives logical well thought out reasoning even against a wall of diehards AND an obsessive U Tube poster who uses heresay and conjecture and says basically the same thing on consecutive threads. Dan is becoming too greedy imo whereas Holo is usually provoked into posting to defend himself. I think McCain's speech is a matter of public interest and if people want to watch it fine, if not that's fine too, I don't see why that's a big deal.

That speech moved me alright, I can't imagine how I would have fared if I had to go through what John McCain did as a POW. To see his awkward walk and the fact he can barely lift his left arm and still carry himself with so much grace and dignity. And to think he chose to remain in that hellhole of a prison 4 more years knowing he would be tortured worse for making that choice.., what a truly great and brave man he is.

Threads aren't "banned" from the front page. Simply use the Recent Topics page which is the complete pipeline. Mods have been moving threads here ever since this page was built. There's a limited amount of space on the front page and that is tailored to listeners.

You got it. He also claims to have been "invited here" to blog. Which may explain why (if this was the Maffia) he'd be a "made man" here. Why his "opponents" (myself, yourself, Diane, even Larree) are dealt with rather than him (ie: the reactions are dealt with, rather than the singular action/source that is causing the reactions.

His opponents are made to feel like they are posting with someone's boot on their neck. LOL

It would also help to post in a passive aggressive condescending style, rather than a direct confrontational style. To be "covert" rather than "overt" seems to get one under the radar. THAT and loving Obama helps as well.

Jump forward 6 months from now, and what you'll see is his blogs with nothing but responses by people who agree with him. His opponents either driven off or too intimidated to post in fear of the "boot on the neck".

Let the Obama love fest begin! LOL

You idiots. It wasn't a personal invite. They had a post up at a forum I frequent announcing the new IAC pipeline for bloggers and music lovers. Do you really not understand that the IAC wants bloggers and music fans to come here?

I'm quite sure I've had more posts moved off the front page than anybody; not because I've abused the rules or posted lots of profanity like Jeffy or Larree but because when I start a new political blog there is still interest in my blogs from previous days so 3 or 4 of my blogs have ended up on the front page at once, which was not my doing.

Saphire, I've seen what you do and your issue with IAC is an obvious one. You keep starting blogs that are either about site issues or to flame me. Don't try to accuse me of any favored status because that's a crock. You just are incapable of respecting the rules here which is no real surprise with your stalker tendencies. It's no wonder you relate to Diver Dan either because I have read that he's been banned on every other site. You 2 have a lot in common, you're both social misfits.

I love this site, the music and the blogosphere and I respect the rules. Some of you can't. Jeffy you're a ticking timebomb who comes here to explode on others. Saphire you are probably in some kind of a lockdown situation, an asylum or prison. :>) Where they shouldn't let you near a PC.

I've been here a while under my maiden name but I decided to come out as my real identity because a mom can only take so much. My Hollie is a good boy, always has been. I know he likes to debate and has strong feelings about things but then his Daddy was very influential in that way. He doesn't live with me as you suggest and he is a fine musician, as you question that too.

I have always found that if you treat him with respect and actually listen to him then he will respect you. He doesn't suffer fools and he can spot fakers and bsers easily.

He loves his mom very much and is a joy to me, I am proud of my Hollie and all that he has achieved. You just don't know him at all but that shouldn't matter it's easy to see how clever he is. He was walking and talking before he was 1 year old and he graduated way before any other kid I ever heard of.
