5/4 time
I changed the tune 'wait' for something i tried in 5/4, which was interesting as an experiment. called it daydream cos it's kind of dreamy(?). anyway, hope it tickles your ears.

You got my attention with the 5/4 and "Dreamy". I love the challenge of making odd time signatures sound natural. And I like dreamy, so I like this song.

Enjoyed listening to this, and welcome here btw. It's fun to explore exotic time signatures. Some of my favorite songs of all time are Brubeck's "Take Five" (5/4) and really just about everything else on the Time Out album, and "Unsquare Dance" (7/4) from Time Further Out, I believe. Zep played with this a lot too...to name just one, "The Ocean" which has 15/8 sections among others.
I think we may have one too. Let me think on this and maybe we will dig that up and post it, if it's not already there.

Led Zeppelin's Four Sticks is one of my favorite odd-meter songs. It's 5/4 and 3/4. When it launches from the 3/4 back to 5/4 it just rawks! We attempted a similar vibe with our There Go I.
Jethro Tull's Living in the Past is another great example of a song becoming a huge hit in spite of being in 5/4.

I love weird time sigs
You just reminded me of one so I put it up called "Nine Lives. It's a guitar jazz piece I wrote that goes back and forth between 5/4 and 4/4..
I have this other one called "open up" that swings from 11/4 to 4/4...and another one called "keepin Up" that's...hard to count,,,it's four 4s with an extra 2 beats..so three fours and a six?, and then it has 4/4 parts as well...
I listened to your stuff yesterday, but it sounds like your changing it so
I'll have to go check it out.

Here's a minor challenge.
What time signature is "Money" by Pink Floyd in?

7/8 except during the guitar break which is 4/4. To be honest I don't read music but I can count, so that bottom number sometimes confuses me.
Trick question: How about Genesis' Supper's Ready Part 6: "Apocalypse in 9/8" (Co-Starring the Delicious Talents of Gabble Ratchet)?
