I lost my left sock.
I swear when I went out for my walk today I had both on and when I got back there was only 1. How did somebody steal it from me when my shoe stayed on the whole time? The world is a crazy place these days!

I heard that if you wear the same socks too long the sweat will cause them to disintegrate, maybe you have one foot hotter than the other.

I think what might have happened is that you thought you had a left sock but since your old and walk pretty slow and have a bad memory by the time you got home again you forgot that you never put your left sock on before you left.
Then again it could be that the dryer ate it I hate when that happens but I've never had the dryers eat the sock directly off my foot before.

I was walking down the street the other day with one sock on and a kid said "hey old man did you lose a sock" I said "nope I found one"
