First Contact......
With all of America (indeed, all of the planet) on pins and needles on Election Eve of the most important election in the history of all mankind, a funny thing happened.

Unnoticed in our myopic navel gazing, a flotilla of unearthly ships fell into formation orbiting our fair earth. By the time we noticed, it was far too late, though in truth, nothing could've been done. And before the initial gasp was fully inhaled, all channels of all communication systems from television and radio to every trunk on the internet was receiving that first fateful message: "HALT!"

Every website in every language carried the same message. It flashed, it roared and echoed. It could be heard simultaneously wherever humans existed. "HALT"...

Then "I AM OLOH"...

"I have come to save you from your stupidity."

"You have proven yourselves too stupid to be allowed to continue without my guidance."

"I am commiting you all to the Art Factory for complete re-education. Never again will you be allowed to be frivolous or disrespectful to the the Great Oloh".

"Now go to your pathetic hovels and worship before the temple of Obama, keep your eyes low and never attempt to address me directly."

And so the pathetic and unworthy creatures did as the Great Oloh said, and their miserable lives were still miserable lives.

Oh I see, you're supposed to be the opposite of me. I think you succeeded in that.

I'm articulate and intelligent, you're confused and a dullard.

No, regrettably, you don't get it....

You don't understand satire....

You don't understand humanity....

You don't understand that your blatantly viperous remarks do not make you "intelligent and articulate", they make you what you have always been.

Insecure, insincere and mean-spirited. To constantly spew venom towards people who openly and honestly disagree with your viewpoint is not a display of intelligence or articulation. It is a sad cry in the night....

Goodbye, Holo, you bring no joy or caring into this weary world. In a time when a smile and goodwill are so desperately needed, you bring nothing to the table of life.

Blast this message if you must, your joyless tirade will only add to your legacy.

Klaus Vonn BooBoo --- You get the Holo-hittin'-HERO of the night award! Thank you for doing it so eloquently. I could stand to a learn a thing or two from Mr. VonBooboo apparently.

I've had a bit too much HYDE, and not enough JEKEL in the blogs lately.

ROCK on VOnn BoObOo !

Holo Opposite, you don't understand satire or you wouldn't have just broken your character because I got under your skin. :>) Anyway your satire was weak and dull, I might have enjoyed it if it wasn't just the sour grapes of somebody who's candidate is struggling.

Obviously you're for McCain or you wouldn't have such resentment that you need to overstate my views on Obama. It's really silly that you bring up the topic of humanity because it makes you a satirical debacle in yourself. Oh the humanity!
A sad cry in the night.... No joy or caring into this weary world!

The reason your world is weary is because you have no hope. No hope except to wake up in the morning and see some new retarded scandal pops up that will allow you to try to inject more fear of Obama into the sauce. What do you know about goodwill? All you are is a phony attacking me because I kicked your stupid ass in some other political argument on the pipeline so you made up another name to try to bond with some of the most lost folks in the community. :>)

Poor Phlegm is so desperate too that he sees what he wants to see, doesn't get that if some loozer starts a page specifically to attack me, and Obama, it's just another lamppost lighting up the road in the direction I'm headed.

Of course I attract adversity like this. I was right. I was supporting Obama long before anybody thought he had a chance to overtake Hillary. I called Sarah Palin a dingbat before any single person in the media noticed.

Satirize your hearts out about me. Nobody is going to satirize you, you don't stand for squat. Unless you count thinking Obama is a muslim who conspires with Osama Bin Laden to hide Acorns. :>)

This country is about to change for the better despite all the morons in it. Give us your tired, your poor.

Jeeze!! No wonder America had a major civil war!

Very clever 'opposite' mug shot but it all sounds a bit too intense and full of hatred. I guess that it's merely a reflection of US politics - A bit like the Cup Final of a sports match but without any referee.

I'm kinda glad I happen to currently live in the UK where voters are far more apathetic and have got politicians more into perspective. I can't even be bothered to vote.

ode to pestulance

rot the roots from the bottom to the top
divide and conquer the ones that tend the crops
make that old scarecrow your garden's enemy
blame it on them crows while the farmer's planting seeds

pray for rain
pray for rain
then complain when it comes down
pray for rain
pray for rain
then complain when you're washed out
come the sun
come the sun
you'll be starting up again
then you'll turn against them roses when they prick you with their stems
come the crop
come the crop
you'll forgive these bitter days
then you'll turn against your sorrows like a child who's found his way
you'll turn against your sorrows like a child who's found his way
