Funny story involving our suprisingly popular song here on IAC and my mother
So when our band first formed a little over a year ago we hadn't been playing music very long and were really just doing it as a way to get some feelings out into some artistic form so's we didn't have to hold them inside forever. I had just gotten out of a VERY long relationship and so had one of my friends. Coincidentally, his ex-girlfriend and I started to get close and inevitably developed feelings for each other, but I knew nothing could happen, so we wrote an incredibly simple song about it and recorded it on horrible equipment. We called it Petrified

No one ever told us that they liked it so we just put it away. When we got our IAC account opened we put up most of the songs we have recorded over the last year but left that one off cause we had totally forgotten about it. My mother called me on the phone to tell me that I NEEDED to add this song because it was one of her favorites, and I did it entirely to appease her. It got 7 plays in its first week. Then, somehow, it got placed on Sandman's Songbirds (which is an excellent station) and in just 4 days it has gotten over 800 plays and is one of our most popular songs...

So the moral of this story is ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER!!

Peace and Love,
Drewsus (OatP)

Interesting, you let your mom run your music life. How old are you?

Good point, ya I let my mom run everything. I mean not just in my music life but in my entire life, doing this ONE thing this ONE time is clear evidence of that.

What kind of pleasure do you gain from moving around these forums and giving unprompted asswholery to people?

Hey momma's boy, I should ask you the same. Unprompted assholery is all I know you to do. I had zeero dealings with you and you were on the other blog calling me a dick several times. My only encounter with you was one where you started calling names and continued calling names. Since I deleted my blog by agreement I decided that I still owed you for being such a twat. Don't be preaching at the same time shit is coming out of your mouth, stupid person.
