The good artists have it, the mediocre ones don't.

I believe in talking for myself too, but I keep changing my mind about stuff. One minute I really care, the next, I don't give a lamb's banana

And that's exactly the type of post that reminds me why I don't give a lamb's banana.

Haha, I'd quit writing if all my material sounded the same. One voice, one style is for Labels.

yeah I know what you mean about one style is for labels...I have a lot of different styles on one CD but it becomes a problem when you are forced to place your CD in to a genre. How can you play the same genre of music all the time....I don't get it!

Yea I don't either Beth. My quest for the perfect chemistry of a song is like a Scientist searching for a cure to an ailment. Always searching and searching for that right mixture that leaves me wanting to listen to my own creations over and over again. If I didn't like my own music, how could I expect anyone else to? My last 3 Albums are mostly Acoustic Compilations of many different Styles and Influences to whom I am paying homage to. So I guess in a way I am feeding the Acoustic Genre whether it be Acoustic, Rock, Alternative, Country, Blues or Folk! Fun mix none the less.

Observing over the last several months - fewer characters, more real people. Not saying that's good or bad, just what I observed.

music and inspiration can remain a mystery...do you need a label? how important is a genre? do you need approval?
If you are an artist ..you know it ..you live it...it becomes you ... Music from the heart is everchanging...If you are strong enough to write from your soul and set your emotions to song so be it.......music is heard .....paths cross and life goes on
believe in what you do and do what you love ...honestly ...allow the box to open and things will never be the same ...are you ready?
IACmusic promotes sharing .......
just believe

Funny this thread is about multiple personalities........... I have a loved one going through the change of life and I wrote a tune about it. Gotta do a final mix yet, but it should be ready this week!
