Inspiration
Right now I am kicking back at Kalapaki Beach on the South Eastern Shore of Kauai in Hawaii. Man, it is so beautiful here. I am strumming my acoustic guitar and getting lots o ideas for a new Reggae song while my wife takes a dip in the warm beach water. If you don't believe in God, hanging out on this island will probably make you reconsider. There is no way that all this "just happened". Last year we went to New Orleans. Been seeing the reports about Issac. I would say that we picked the right year to go to Hawaii. I feel so inspired right now! This is a songwriters paradise! Great scenery, fun local music scene and the best Mai Tai's on earth. I would post some pictures but we forgot our camera's at home. Gonna have to go the disposable route. Will post some picture next week when we return home. But.............

Nothing like a change of scenery to get the songwriting juices flowing! Kauai is definitely the island to go to. Enjoy your time in paradise (and get off the computer!)

Sounds Heavenly, Stoneman. Can't believe you mention mai tais - ask anyone that knows me around Boston- my FAVORITE drink in the world. So glad you and your wife are having such a fabulous time - can't wait to hear the tunes you come back with.

It's been a fantastic trip and we are flying home tomorrow. I have lots of new ideas that may wind up being a new Reggae CD. Yesterday we drove to the North shore and had a blast in some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Today we are doing a river cruise and taking in some waterfalls. Mai Tai's and the swimming pool will follow. We are planning to come back here in two years as next year we are going back to New Orleans. Big Blessings!
