Merry Christmas My Friend
Yeah I know its a little early for a Christmas but I wanted to get this uploaded so I can move on to other music projects. I received a message from my recording company asking me if I could write and produce a Christmas song. That is an area of challenge that I have seldom pursued. Anyway, I sat down and wrote this song about reuniting with a good old friend on Christmas. I wanted to make it real and nostalgic. I sort of tapped into my jazz roots in regards to the arrangements but lead the way with more of an R&B tinged vocal. The result is this song and the recording company signed it as soon as they heard it. Anyway, I hope my friends here at IAC will enjoy it also. Thanks for listening to my work!
