It's Friday
Well, not really. Or, maybe it is. Depends on the day you read this. Anyway, this is a new song from my latest CD due to be released by end of May. It is a song about celebrating the end of the week. All though I have been retired from my day job since 2003, I still remember what it was like on Fridays. Now, everyday is a Friday if I want it to be. Oddly enough, I work more hours daily now than I did when I was working the day job. I can stay in the studio for as many as 18 hours a day. It happens......Hope you like the song!

I just listened to it and liked it. Dig the groove. I always look away from the player or out the window or close my eyes cause as a Musician it helps me get in tune with the sound so to speak.
Anyhow, cool Brother.

Killer dance track! I love the hefty kick drum and the slammin' open hi-hat. You really know how to your thang! Is that you playing sax? I'm jealous!
This song would be great on a movie soundtrack. Great production ~ very infectious
track. Can't sit still when listening!

Thanks so much Steve. Yeah, I like to put the headphones on, close my eyes and then focus in on all the parts of a song. Thanks for the kind words and for listening.
Thanks Richard, I tried to play that Hi hat myself but my BPM kept slipping. So, I found a loop that worked very well. Yes, I played the Sax parts. Sax was my first instrument. I was even in a brass marching band once. I stopped playing for many years when I was a kid after I got double pneumonia and suffered a collapsed lung. They told me playing horns could kill me. But I couldn't ever totally stop playing my Sax or my Trumpet. Now, I play only when I have a spot that I feel really needs it. I kind of rusty but it is okay for recording purposes.
