The Feedback factory
So, you have a song and you think it is hot. However, you would really like to know what other people think about it. Well, here at IMP we have the
<<>>Feedback factory <<>> and when you upload your song there you will get feedback from other artists here at IMP. All you have to do is register for the forum (it's easy) and then upload your song. Also, you can review other artists songs that have been uploaded for feedback. If you want to get some unbiased reviews from artists at varied levels in the industry, this is the place to go. So go ahead and upload your song. I and several others are looking forward to hearing your work.

I would add that this sort of thing is not that easy to find. Most of the highest traffic sites don't even have a community to provide feedback, really.
I tell artists who don't even have a page here that they can come get guaranteed feedback, this is one appealing aspect of indiemusicpeople.com

Very true Scott, I hope folks here will take advantage of this option. There are people who charge lots of money to review songs. Here, you get it free. What a cool thing I think! All genres welcome. Guaranteed to receive honest feedback.

It sounds so inviting
I should have dived right in
But I haven't been there a lot...
You're doing a really good job
The service is free
And good, I agree
But I am an ignorant slob
It's not what you wanted to hear
I know it sounds crazy
But I am too lazy
To wander off piste I fear
I looked once or twice and I thought
It's kind of confusing
When I'm simply cruising
My instinct is just to abort
It feels like I'm leaving the site
I know I'm a wimp
But it don't feel like IMP
There's something about it ain't right
I wish these requests could be made
With a link here at home
So I don't have to roam
Say, who do I have to persuade?

What can I say. I don't run anything here. I am just a volunteer trying to help other artists by sharing my over 5 decades of music industry experience. There are several others who are volunteering their time to do reviews also. I see IMP as a growing community of artists and services. The feedback factory is just another part of the IMP vine. If going to the feedback factory bothers you because it appears to be another site, I apologize for that. It doesn't feel that way to me because it is just a link and another place to go to when I am here. As far as the person to persuade to make it different? Well that wouldn't be me. I would suggest that you go to the support forum but.......that would be similar to the link for the Feedback factory. Probably not a viable option from your own perspective. So, maybe they (IMP Management) will see it here and respond.

do what I can when I can, have to admit I have not done much at Feedback Factory. a little. pitching of my own works (collabs) there. 2 songs for assessment for kayak review. I am very involved here at the IMP and former iacmusic for a long time first with bluevoodoo way over 10 years ago. The Blue Voodoo and many other artists I promote to terrestrial radio fm am etc via voodoohead productions. first uploads like Bad news Wednesday, October 13, 2004 5:56:40 AM from their first cd RIDE.......multiple other artists. and I visit here often checking out the scene here, adding reviewing artists songs. So while I like to do more. I cant right now, deep in Promo with the Conscious Rednecks finished up Summer and the Sinners. It is a matter of time. sometimes I have more, and now not so much. cheers and keep on rockin

I do relate to what you say about the forums being "off-piste" and I don't get there anything like as often as popping in here nearly daily! But there's some good stuff there when you have time and it is the same people there as here - just takes a bit more effort.
When it IMP works on all platforms I think it will really take off as at the moment you have to be at home on your computer rather than on the road. I'm off on tour with our drumming projects on Friday on and off till September and it will be nearly impossible for me to do anything here till then as I'll just be on my phone and tablet. But it's all improving all the time so I'm optimistic about the future here personally.

I've done a few reviews but I check back every once in a while and see no action.
Reviews can be very helpful and if I review your song? I will tell you the truth, I won't stroke any egos.
