New Internet Collaborations Station
Having gotten interested in the whole internet collaboration thing, I decided the best way to check it out is to start a station consisting of them.

If you've got a collaboration that you're particularly proud of, let me know and we'll get it included.

I'm hoping that this might be interesting.

well there should definitely be at least one CV song on your station. :) As far as other FT songs, let me link you to several of the most popular collabs I've ever done.

Argue

I Believe in Karma (Voodoo Version)

Blameless (Sex Pistols Tribute)

I got more where those came from.

Ok, try "You Do it Right" on my homepage. Let's see......

Keys/Drums/Programming in Sydney. Guitar from Michigan. Vocals from Michigan and Minnesota. Produced in Sydney, and mastered in Denmark. Mixed up enough ? LOL

Me and Steve (SRM) did a tune together called: Things
Duane Flock (Calif) music/lyrics, played guitars, programmed drums, mixed it.
Steve Morton (Texas) did vocals, bass, keys/synths

Cool Tune and Steve was very easy to work with.

All DirgeK's songs were done by collaboration over the internet. My favourites are Beat Dancin, Incognito and Many Vias but I will let you choose.

Thanks DK's mum

Collaborating over the 'net is something I've said I would do many times, but have never gotten around to it. I even bought the camera and got a Skype account to write via long distance. And it sits collecting dust.

Guess I'm old school. It seems I need to be in the room with whoever I'm writing with. So far.

One exception is "Le Cadre Photo". Although it's not really a co-write in the strictest sense. I've got a song called "Blurry Photograph". I met a young woman on Reverbnation and she lives in Paris. Chrystelle Nammour. I asked her to do a translation from English to French. Which she did. She also sings on her version.

I recorded the guitar track, MP3'd it to her. She recorded her vocal and sent it back. You can hear "Le Cadre Photo" at my page.

All my stuff is pretty much internet collab.

Evidently, it's more common than one might think!

Doing one right now.
Revamping an existing song which was to have vocals but decided to give it up and go total instrumental and is with a producer right now getting reworked and hopefully get it re-uploaded here at IACMUSIC soon...bryon
