Time
Time ...
Since the subject of time has been popping up on the blogs a lot lately ...
I thought it only appropriate to write a song about it ...
I quickly wrote these two verses ... got out my trusty homemade mic and recorded them ...
NOW ... I'm putting out a challenge for a Co-Write ... Anybody Game ?
Wanna write a chorus ? ... Some more verses ? ...
Here is the link to the song ... "Wishin' Well"
... and here are the lyrics for the first two verses ...
Well I've had a lot of good times ...
Had some bad times too ...
But most of the time just up and slipped away
Without leaving a clue ...
Yesterday I was a young man ...
I left a few stories to tell ...
But most of the time I spent dreamin' 'bout tomorrow
down at the wishin' we ..wee ... well
Down at the wishin' well ...
The chords are easy ...
G ... D ... C ... D
All the way through verse one and the only change in verse two is the last line ... that goes G...D...Am...C...D
The chorus is up to YOU ... right now I'm just alternating between Am and C to D ...
(I'm capo'ed at the 2nd fret, so the actual chords would be A...E...D...E, with B/Cb in the last line of 2nd verse)
Thanks for listening ... Anyone interested ?

Lets all nighter this Bad Boy....
Sam I came up with this....
2nd verse ends running through the G_D_C_D////G_D_C_D to Bm to C
Bm C
Slipping away to tomorrow
Bm C
Dreamin 'bout yesterday
Bm C
Keeping it real at the moment
D
of drifting away
G_D_C_D
what do ya think...come back

O.K. Roy ... I think I'm gettin it .... see if I got it right
... After I sing Down at the wishin well the 2nd time ... I run through the G..D..C..D twice ... and then into the Bm / C progression ... right ? with the C coming in at tommorow ?

Welcome back Sam....
Mean while I wrote some bad lines
I wrote some good ones too
but all theose times I had no recorder
that left me blue
Today I'm walking in new shoes
the stories have not changed
But most of the time I spent dreamin' 'bout tomorrow
I kept tossing those dines
down in the wishin' well
the wishin' well of time
the wishin well of time.....
Does this make any sence or am I just dreamin'.....

I was playing it after your first two verses___twice through the G_D_C_G
then yes t5he Bm_C___Bm_C___Bm_C___D
Back to G_D_C_D
but this time I did not use thye Am while ending the song.
I held the C chord a few extra strums and ended on G
You can decide if you want to go back and forth on the
down at the wishing well
the wishing well of time
down at the wishing well ect...
Or can it and Haller...NEXT!..
