Black Sabbath's "Forbidden" is not that bad, is it?

This may seem slightly off topic, if so apologies in advance. However, it is a question I would ask of the General Public (hey, that's you!) AND I would think that musicians that may be self produced / recorded who also post music to a site that streams said music MAY (may) just be the right folks to ask. Or not (let's find out).

In my teeny tiny man room have the computer plugged into the reciever so I can easily listen to the music on hard drives or streams. Works for one room. I would like to be able to enjoy the same in other rooms or out in the yard.

I know I can get new recievers that will connect to the home network IF I ROB A BANK. SInce I would not do well in prison, this isn't gonna happen right now. I have been looking at FM transmitters - that seems like a decent solution, looks like they can be had for couple hundred dollars and make all of thge recievers / radios "enabled", which is what I want.

Anybody have any experience with these? Seems like such a simple solution that there HAS to be something wrong with it. Are there other, better solutions?

I've no FM experience.

I network all my home media ... including wireless access to it.

Same sort of thing thing, different approach.

Thanks, Kevin. I have looked at networked recievers, which would be sweet, but the cost is prohibitive for me right now, plus my very middle of the road "old school" recievers are all in good working order. When the time comes to replace them I would certainly look at networked units with HD radio. Heck, none of my current stuff is even digital - so as they bite the bullet I can improve.
