Jesse Adams
Hey Jesse - I am by no means a musician of any kind, so I don't have any relevant muso stuff to say, apologies in advance. I am just a random douchebag looking for something to listen to.

I was clicking around and hit your page. Before I hit "play" I started to read through it a bit. I always let the ears decide in the end, but the eyes get first crack. Upon reading "instumental metal" a few times, "experimental", "ambient / electronic" etc I was a little skeptical, sometimes that leads to too much chugga chugga wah wah noodling and pointless pyrotechnic exercises that highlight "skill", I suppose, but aren't that great for listening, at least not for me. So I was prepped to bail, just being honest.

I wound up being blown away. I listened to the whole thing, was never even close to being bored, did not roll my eyes or yell "get ON WITH IT ALREADY" once. I cranked it up and assumed the "listening position" in my "office" (the Fortress of Stupidity, where the beer fridge is). Most excellent listening session, I didn't feel like "flipping the channel" at all, there was a lot of variety, even the sequnce of songs on the page flowed well. I really like the way that no matter where the music went, it was never too far away from rocking out. The keyboard pieces added a lot of atmosphere, the vox was cool (esp the gothish crooning on "Stale").

I have listened to a butt load of "independant artists" - it is rare to stumble on something that I can sit and listen to from end to end like that. Thanks.

Well, as I'm sitting here trying not to smile too widely, all I can say is you're welcome. I must also say I'm not a musician of any kind either! haha :) So you and I are on the same page as random douchebags are my kind of folks.

Thanks man! I'm really glad you like my stuff and I'm glad you gave it a chance. I have spent a lot of time arranging my songs in the most fitting order, at least to me, so it's cool that you noticed the flow I was going for. Sometimes I worry there is too many different things I do and that I will lose or ask too much from the attention of the listener, so either that's not true in this case at least or you have a very wide and keen taste in music.

I couldn't ask for a cooler review/feedback/post thingie. It was funny and obviously made me feel pretty damned good. Plus you posted it on the pipeline?! Now everyone will see how great I am and they'll all listen!

I hope you're catching the humor here. Seriously though, thanks man. Really cool. :) Glad I could give you something to enjoy, that's what it's all about. Oh and I'm glad you weren't bored as a lot of people are I think because of lack of vocals... but that never bothered me much.

... very nice of you to put forth the effort to give this artist recognition Jingo ...

What would you expect from a guy who has such a talented father ..... Mike Adams ...

.... and the biggest reason Jesse is good is probably because of his initials ..

J.A. .... :)
