Nice work. I like the stripped down production and the steady tempo. The acoustic guitar sounds very good as does the tambourine.
You must reveal how you got that electric lead effect on the solo. Sounds like an Electro Harmonix stomp box! Catchy chorus too. Strange subject matter but good song!

Richard, The electric lead effect is simpler than you think. I'm using a little delay from an Alesis microverb and some reverb. What gives it the interesting sound is that it is actually two separate guitar tracks played an octave apart.
I know it's a strange song, but I'm glad you can appreciate it.
