Tell me if this title is too cliche.
Sunshine in the Rain? I know it must have been used a thousand times before, but as I go through the lyrics, I can't really find a title. Ever have this problem? Maybe it's one of those songs whose title is not in the lyric at all.
I'm open to suggestions as far as changing it. Got any ideas?
You can listen to it Here.

Sorry I can't help you with the title but I like the song a lot. As always, your lyrics are so deep and penetrating. Amazing! Much Respect!

I really like the song as well as the production. I don't usually have a problem naming songs because I generally start from a title and work backwards. Other times I use a phrase form the 1st line of the chorus as the title.
Personally think that a more creative title based on your song would be "Someone Else's Rainbow" but there's nothing wrong with the title you put forward. This is just one person's subjective opinion.

I think the title's fine Tom..
Nice well written song - and the mid 8 is melodically the star of the show for me here..Very good
I agree with Stoneman - and was thinking of that before i even saw this thread - your lyrics (from the songs of yours i've heard here ) are uniformally excellent..
Thoughtful,poetic and free of cliches
Very cool

Well, I think I'll keep the title, then. Thanks for all your kind comments.
Steve, you know the old joke - avoid cliches like the plague! One of the most pleasurable things in songwriting for me is to turn a nice, fresh phrase. One line I love in this song is: "Butterfly, it's too soon/To be missing your cocoon." You'd think that a butterfly would celebrate its wings, but some people like living in a cocoon.

I'd call it "Butterfly It's Too Soon" as it's completely original and also a meaningful line from the song.
Nice song by the way!
