Why I love IAC
I just have to say that it hits me sometimes that we are able to share recorded music across the globe so instantly - it's like we have this meta-intelligence beyond our own, and that we can tap into it at will. We are some kind of hive-mind of musical people, all sharing what's going on in our musical souls. It's a very beautiful thing.

I couldn't have said that better myself. It is such a joy when creative minds have a place to meet, greet and share their art with each other. IAC is that kind of place and that is what makes it so unique, fresh and vibrant. No, it is not perfect and there is much that could be improved. But there is no place like it on the web!

How true - I have my music in all the usual places (Myspace, Soundcloud etc etc) but this is the one with the most interaction and feedback and genuine sense of musical friendship.
Yes every now and then there are glitches and it is old fashioned in many respects, but the idea of creating stations and sharing music here combined with the Pipeline seem very unique. Sometimes it's been feedback here that's helped me carry on at all. If you're not well known, it's so easy sometimes to get disheartened and it's wonderful to get the odd positive comment from another musician and see your song on someone's station knowing they've liked enough to listen to it regularly is a real lift!

I agree with all of the above especially about the stations being a unique thing. It's so exciting to be added to a station. The reviews/descriptions are so great, I've used them as "press" reviews. And, honestly it's wonderful to get some encouragement from somewhere. Not to mention, I love how you can listen to all sorts of music on the stations that you definitely don't hear on the usual internet radio rotations. Some of my favorite songs currently are by IAC artists.

Being a part of this unique collective of supportive kindred spirits is a wonderful thing.
There's no better music site on the internet.
