Hi everybody, during my break from teaching I managed to pen this song. This is just a rough demo. Have had no time to record much lately. Summer's on its way though.

Finally got into Pandora and I've been living on an Al Green station. Maybe you'll catch the soul influence in this song.

As always, I'd be open to hearing how you might arrange it.

I love this track Tom - I've added it straight to Over The Moon. Great to have a long awaited new track. I really like the lyrics of this song and the simple arrangement is perfect to showcase the words with no distractions. Nice one.

I agree with all my colleagues and it's so refreshing to finally hear such an angst-free song from you :-) I also think it's great that you have the guts to ask for suggestions.
Frankly, I think you've nailed it with just the voice and guitar. A little bass never hurts
but still it stands up as is. This is a nice direction for you and suits your voice well. Good work!

Thanks so much Steve, Chandra, Stoneman, Dolores, and Richard. It's nice to be back in your ears again! I'm writing more in the soul-vein lately. Bob Elliott is producing an album for me, and it has some soul overtones. I think the material is all recorded. Just a matter of how he slices and dices it now.
