For the visual among you
As Bob Elliott mentioned, I'm also a painter, so at his urging I've posted a few of my paintings next to my songs. They don't necessarily illustrate that particular song - they were posted randomly. Bu it'd be interesting if you found your own connections between the songs and paintings. I think they all come from the same place within us. Enjoy!

Impressive work Tom ... I liked them all ... I find the Country Grave site scene particularly interesting ... not something one see's much of in nature scenes ... I won't attempt to analyze your brain patterns while doing these works ... But as a viewer I get a sense of much humbleness and acceptance of the inevitable here ... Possibly a touch of loneliness, but the old road represents a place that others will still pass by from time to time ... Most will not notice the grave but perhaps the color in the tree overlooking the spot ...
Of course then again it could be just a hole in the ground, where the painter covered up a mistake in his work ... :)

Craypas, Jeff ... which is short for Crayon Pastels, which are a more oil based medium than chalk pastels ... my wife being the artist, so I'm familiar w/ certain terms and styles.

Thanks for the kudos everyone.
Kevin, I paint mostly in oil, but often on gessoed paper, so it has a different look than on canvas. Two of the pieces, however, are done with oil pastel and bits of paper glued in - mixed media. They are two of the figurative pieces - the messier ones.
