Yea, there is one chord that is unexpected, creates a nice dissonance that resolves.

I like the song Tom... I would nix the "AAH" backing vox, something is not sitting right., the other harmonies sound great. Have you tried a little compression on your lead Vocal, a couple phrases jump out and a bit of compression would help them sit in the mix.

I am just throwing out suggestions as you indicated it was a rough mix. They are just initial gut reactions...

I think it has great potential.
