Ever been "busted" at work?
For spending too much time on the Internet? I mean, come on, so I peeked at Facebook now and then and looked up obscure word etymologies and checked in with the BBC news and Snooped at how many hits my web page had gotten and read all the posts at IAC and VS Planet and did reviews of art work at www.saatchigallery.com and played chess against the computer and... wait a minute, this is starting to sound bad.
Boss coming - gotta GO!

Were the busts at least soft and well-shaped? It's so much better when they are.

No I haven't. Most of my work is not sitting right at my desk. Also, I don't have a boss that breathes down my neck. I have a lot of freedom and I am trusted. For that reason, I would never want to break that trust. I do check my emails, sometimes iac, sometimes facebook messages but don't stay on for long. I dont smoke cigarettes, I don't need cigarette breaks; So I allow myself computer breaks. Some days I screw off a bit, but then I feel very guilty and make up for it later.
I could see how it could happen though, especially people who are sitting right at their computer and are very bored with their jobs. It would be impossible to resist.

Funny you should mention The CODE, Chris!
I just figured out how to fix it, AND just finished a 2 hour PLUS phone call with Colin of The CODE.
We did a BITCHIN' Cell Phone/Landline Sing-along, or you could call it a LO-FI 2000Plus miles away collab, after we'd reached Conversation Suicide, to Their GREAT fuckin' TUNE: What I HATE" by The CODE

good
see how this is much, much faster than the mouse
I even remember a few years ago that there were some websites (chatrooms and BBS's mostly) that would mimic Windows programs like Word or Excel. Brilliant.

It's a wonder really that the Western economy goes on ...
I still love in The Office where they show a computer montitor with Solitaire on the screen
