Do you Brits prefer to called "English" or British?"
Or a "Limey?" Just wondering. Personally, I kind of like being called a "Yank" by you all. It's sort of friendly. Less formal than "American."

Well, all Brits are British, but not all Brits are English. A Welshman or a Scotsman would likely headbutt you if you called him English. So I guess it would depend on the person!

Yep, English is cool if you talking to an English man, but not to a Scot! Glasgow i not not in England! (I saw that posted by some american somehwre recently :-))
I'm perfectly happy with english or british, even european in thr tigh context.
