I need a new favorite football team
The more I think about it, I just don't have any reason to care about the Falcons any more. The guy that was the most fun to watch turned out to be a total shithead (and they'll be useless without him), and since I don't live in Atlanta any more it doesn't seem fitting to keep a personal stake in the team.
So now I need a new team, because football less fun for me without a favorite. Any compelling reasons for me to choose your favorite team?

San Diego Chargers - I work in San Diego, and I have supported them back when they were terrible, we can use another fan...come on board! Ladanian is a Great player, and he seems to be a real , down to earth human being as well. They have another excellent team this year.
Looking forward to the Game at New England Sunday Night...should be a great one. They knocked them out last year after going 14-2. That was a heartbreaker...

A disillusioned one.

I do agree with Laree... Vick is not The Falcons. They existed long before him, and will rebound without him. I think they will be much better when they find a bonifide, solid NFL Quarterback. One that does more then run! There are many hard working team members left...Warrick Dunn, Crumpler, The Falcons have a great owner as well. Vick betrayed the Falcons, they don't deserve to lose fans over his immature, barbaric actions...

living in england it is hard to really 'support' a team, but i love the sport and played during my teens (fortunately when popularity here was at its peak)...
the first game i saw was superbowl XIX (tho i was only 12, and had never even heard of the superbowl, it was just a game, i had to go bed before it finished!) - the next season i watched a whole game on tv and the 49ers were playing, i figured this must be fate and decided to support them.
the better they got, tho, the more i tended to look for the results of the colts, as they were always struggling, and (inexplicably) my gran had bought me a colts towel...
ironically, the two teams have swapped places in the success states - so i sort of follow both teams...
just thought i'd share this perspective with you - i'd never dream of supporting two english soccer teams, tho!

One team has more integrity than any other. The Philadelphia Eagles. And they also have Brian Westbrook, the most exciting player in the game. It's the only logical choice, Eric. :)
