IAC artistes on Soundclick
Hello, apologies if someone has already suggested it or started the link, I just thought about IAC artistes on Soundclick. Would anyone be interested in working on that one? Unfortunately I'm terrible with posting the links as I don't even know how to post the link so that you can click on it and it would open. Anyway, it's just an idea and it would be great if anyone decided to do it or if it already is up and running, would someone kindly let me know where it is. Thank you.
Nadia :)

I think it's a great idea. Soundclick does stations too, so someone could start one there and one here. The same thing could work for MySpace, Garageband and many other music hosting sites. Even if they don't have a station/playlist/group option, it could still be a useful way of promoting our music and IAC across different sites. Of course as soon as the station is created here, it can also be promoted in the "Recommend a KIAC Station" thread over on our Facebook group.
If someone does start one, count me in.

Here's the code to post a live link:
{a href="http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=936270" target="_blank"} http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=936270{/a}
Replace {} with <>
If you don't want your link opening in a new window, leave out the target="_blank" bit.

Thank you Taylor. Let's hope someone will be interested in starting the station. Well, I can start it myself but even after your explanation I still don't understand how to post a live link and all I can do is to copy the link you've so kindly done for me. Well, may be I just start a post saying only live links only and people will post their links to the thread? That way their music could be heard.

Here is a link to a basic html tutorial showing you how to post links. It's quite a useful thing to learn how to do, and very easy once you get the hang of it.

Thank you so much both, Taylor and Auset. I'll try and see whether I can finally crack that one. It's annoying not to be able to post the link properly.
