is this band worth keeping a page here?
it's designated 'provisional' - but kind of like getting dumped, i might rather leave before they show me the door...
so, i throw it out there for some feedback from pipeliners,
cantrip
it was my favorite band i jammed with, but it's a bit dead of a page

The songs are cool. I think it has more to do with the fact no one has logged in for over three months.... It;s like leaving your things in storage with no contact with the owners, eventually the stuff is sold and the space rented to another.
If the owners are interested in the page...show some fricken interest.
Peace

i am thee owner, i put it up 3 months ago, hmm
anyhow, i could give two worthless shits if this place keeps it up here. the fact that (imo) kick ass alt rock can get ignored and so much tripe gets promoted here, i am slowly awakening to the fuck hole of a dead end wasteland IAC is. I am currently looking for the next music site to haunt. anything but myspace, which BTW, the kids seem to think is the ONLY place to find indie music.
don't get me wrong, if you are into folk, or highschool band teacher funk wanna be horseshit, you're good. but, i am a bitter and caloused wash up.

Dude, My point is simple...Log in to the page now and then and let them know that you are around and care that the page is here. If it looks like you don't have any interest why should they? It's all bout trimming space, saving on bandwidth/storage, and making sure each page has something to offer the listener.
Glad you reconsidered your post Fred, it was harsh and uncool.
Good luck ,and strength to the site you eventually Haunt/Torture :)~

do you think your fucking point eluded me?
logging in won't make a bit of difference, besides the fact for some weird reason I am unnable to log into the stupid page, nor have i received log in info requested.
BFD
they can kill it, i really don't care, obviously, neither does anyone on the pipeline. seriously, that would be one sure fire way to get rid of me,.. hint hint, nudge nudge

whatever, my comments are subject to interpretation, jeff hears uncool, you hear whining.
I don't see it that way at all. the word "provisional" says it all. the crickets chirping says even more. at least you and jeff actually checked it out, and shared your opinions, and for that,..
thanks :)

I did a bad, bad thing.
I listened to them both yesterday. Both of them fit nicely with what I am currently listening to, pre QOTSA stuff like Kyuss and Masters of Reality. There was some nice guitar work on both tracks, I liked it.
I did not reply for selfish reasons. I percieve an "anti-rock" bias on this board (unless something can be directly tied to the boys from Liverpool it goes nowhere). I laid out on you to see what would happen. That was a shitty thing to do, sorry about that, Bruce.

I agree on one thing, many on the pipeline don't give a rats ass whats going on with the artists here....current projects, songs,, etc get little or no feedback. Sometimes I do feel it a waste to even post.
Jingo, there is no anti rock bias here...I think just the opposite as a 'Beatle" guy.... :)....as far as the Boys from liverpool? Please I do that as much as anybody and those don't have much impact either.

heheh, I got in, oh yeah, ....had to dig through some serious email (good thing i don't delete passwords)
seriously, thanks for checking it out you guys. I just recently connected with Randy (vocals) and his current band is covering alot of the tunes he and I wrote together. He lives 1,000 miles away, but if he were here, i guarantee we would have a band.
I'm just trying to keep the spark alive, the tunes were great and the chemistry was unmatched by any other band/project i've been in.
..anyhow, i did manage to update the page with links to DLs and Randy's current band.
well, guess we'll just have to see if IAC likes it enough to keep it here.
P E A C E !
ps - jingo, you get a pass, you're my hero :)

Music is the vessel that one illuminates his or her surroundings.
There is no such thing as a bad song. Only songs that are not understood for the meaning that they protray.
Funny, I must not have had my RUM yet.!!
Anyway, Bruce. I think your songs are great. keep playing what you feel and you can never go wrong!!
Cheers

I had a listen to your songs Bruce. Although I am, as you mentioned above, not someone who prefers harder rock, I do think your songs are very good. I especially like "Prophet." It's a great song.
Must be that your page has been inactive for too long; certainly has nothing to do with your music.

"Provisional" pages haven't been evaluated yet. No need to read any more into it than that.

i aprreciate you chiming in, Toby ..i was hoping that was the case. Provisional by definition (of course) is 'temporary'. It's hard not to assume that didn't refer to the page being temporary,.. and on my behalf a lil bit o fear set in, I couldnt bear the thought of that gem getting nuked. ..hence the blog
so, thanks again, all
