Robert - I have been a fan since "My Oasis". I picked up Long Story Short, great work. I am not much of a "happy" fan, but you have always managed to bring it. Thanks for doing what you do. You, sir, are a rock star.

PS - I still hate your hairdo :)

Thanks for the warm welcome Amiel, Bryon, Tony and Jingo!

Jingo - omg...too funny about the 'hairdo', that's a blast from the past! Thanks for picking up Long Story Short, glad you like it. Great to see you here!

Robert - I was getting all nostalgic a while back, wondered "hmm, wonder what Robert Jansen is up to?" and did a search. I saw that the new album was coming out and bought the advance single version of "What If". It was like destiny or something, or maybe just Google, I don't know, it was a while ago. The new album is great. So far my favorite track is "Broken Promises", great guitars in there.

You have long been my favorite Canandian. Well, maybe just below anybody in Rush.

Or that guy that played "Bubbles" in Trailer Park Boys.

Or Triumph.

But ahead of Gordon Lightfoot, that's for sure.

The rest of you: If you like the stuff Mr. Jansen has posted here, it is well worth your time and money to get the album, as well as the first one. At least give "I'm Free" a spin, if it doesn't make you smile and play some air guitar you need to see a doctor.

Jingo - you still make me laugh! Whew...I'm ahead of Gordie Lightfoot!

Speaking of nostalgia...it's really cool to be here. Seems like old times. I'm so glad you like the new album...it took a while to finish, and I'm happy it's finally out there. "Broken Promises" was written, just after I released the first album, but I didn't start arranging/producing it until this year. I'm really attached to that song as it revolves around the 'movies', which I love!

Keep in touch!

To Bob Rylett - thank you! Wow....do you ever have a lot of songs up! I linked up your page and tagged it as "East coast music from the West coast". Great sound, great harmonies!
