Hi from the Trip Poppies!
Hi, and thanks for dropping by our page. As you can see, it's exceptionally no frills at the moment, but we'll fix that shortly. We have two songs here, both recorded at Meridian Receiver studios in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, Australia. Thanks very much to What the Folk, Gatekeeper and eYe for the radio adds. BTW, we are
Andy Jans Brown - lead vocals
Sonia Leeson - backing vocals
Dan Brown - bass/keys
Toby Davies - guitars
Matthew Guliford - guitars
David Stuart - lead vocals/guitars
Jamie Pattugalan - drums/percussion
Dez Hoy&Greg Samuelson (writers/producers)
Look forward to checking out all the great stations and artists out there in IAC trying to keep it real in the indie scene! - Greg (on behalf of the Trip Poppies)

We've been on IAC for only a few days and want to thank IAC for giving us such a warm welcome into the commmunity, and for the DJs who have so kindly given us some adds. We have two new songs to check out, Market Forces, a retro funky take on the global financial crisis, and The Garden of Eden, a song of hope about the power of love in these troubled times. Peace and love to all here, we can feel it all the way from Australia xx

Hey Poppies - Thanx for the kind words about "Brother John". I'm glad you appreciate the toms as it took a lot of work to sound that way. Kinda drove me crazy, but it was worth it! I love your song: "Market Forces" especially the real Hammond organ. I like your attention to details like that. It makes your retro sound very authentic. Wah-wah guitars and brass = fun!
