Heroes. The Heroes List from me, huh?
Peers, I have many. John was a teacher in the beginning, in the early years
when I first channeled him and George still roamed the Earth. Then I caught up.
Lesley Gore, was my Mentor. And sometimes TORMentor but we won't talk
about that now.
Heroes... in terms of musically oriented people?
'Cause like, my parents are heroes to me....
Well okay.
It's a short list.
Here goes.
Pete Shotton.
Scott Stambaugh.
Have a nice day Everyone.

But he gets weird, too!
See?
And, that second one is from just a couple of years ago… he was in his 70s.

"Sting (Police years)"
Yeah, definitely nothing past the Police years. A brilliant musician, but, once he stopped working with Andy and Stewart… *yawn*...

Tried to edit my earlier posts but could not. Was going to fill in some additional info.
Vic Flick - The man played the James Bond Theme. Enough said!
Karlheinz Stockhausen - I got to experience a live performance of the piece in those videos during the 1984 L.A. Olympics Art Festival. One of the most amazing concert experiences ever. It was performed by a few small ensembles of singers and musicians scattered in a large park.

David Bowie
Before this night in 1972 the only song I ever heard by David Bowie was Space Oddity. And then I went to this concert.

... and one more for the night.
Herb Ellis and Joe Pass - two of the greatest jazz guitarists ever. I got to see them play a few times at the Sunday afternoon free jazz concerts in the park back in the 70's. Saw some other amazing players at those shows. Barney Kessel, Jim Hall, and more cats like that.
