It's no doubt, there are some who wish it'd all go away...
but Youth keeps being Youth.
And rebelliousness keeps being a property of Youth.
And this is in many ways a Youth-oriented Society.
Which really makes me wonder,
truly, how is it, that a greased back drip like Ted Cruz
is not pelted with shoes upon every occasion at which he opens
his yap to speak.
The truth, the real truth is,
that rebellious spirit, is still very much alive.
And incredibly, we have an awful lot of Hip Hop to thank for that!
Yeah! We do.
It picked up the charge when rock nodded out.
Rock N Roll, proper is coming back.
Because I'm me and I said so, and I make it my business to see that it does.
And I'm a balance, of the two....
I've lived the party crazy life.... and now, I'm sober, but I still,
have that child-like wonder and nature about me....
it's like I went back in time, to before I even needed to 'get high'
to be the original wild and crazy free spirited me.
It works for me. I think I'm hard-wired high, actually.
No, it's not fading out.
It's just, there are some people, who wish to portray it as fading out,
those who are invested personally, career manipulators,
who want to make it seem like 'that's what's going on'.
What is going on however, is something entirely different.
And some of us, do see that.
You see it too...
You see what they're trying to do, stomp out the light,
and you see how the light still yet shines. As if to say
"F*** Zem. We Are French!"

youthful rebelliousness is not to be underestimated,
since it does not actually require youth,
it is the very reason some people hold onto being dicks,
so they don't turn into assholes. Thanks for listening. It's been fun. -Dick Whitman

Those people you are running into are probably old and have forgotten the thrills of youthful vigor and the lust for fun. I don't think that the Rock & Roll mentality will ever be lost. Rock & Roll itself may die a slow death but the mentality will remain because it is not totally associated with Rock & Roll. It is associated with the youthful gazes of the coming generations. They carry the flames of history in their hearts. They are making history as we speak. Just the other day I went to an elementary school talent show and I watched over 300 children rush the stage when the Nae-Nae song came on. The teachers lost all control as the kids threw all caution to the wind and danced like it was the summer in 60's. I thought, damnnnnn, I hate this song but damnnnnnn, I love the rebellious nature of these kids. I loved it so much that I started doing the Nae-Nae myself.
Everyone thinks that their generation was the best. I am not one of those neanderthals. I believe that the best generation and the best music is yet to come. I look at shows like Little Big Shots and I gain more and more hope for the future of the world and for music. There are some real musical geniuses on the horizon. I hope I live long enough to witness some of it! I believe it will make the music of the past pale in comparison. I know, I know, I am pissing off a whole lot of people now. But it is time for us to move over and let the young folks have their day. We paved the way, now they must make their own marks. Instead of sitting back and resting on our laurels, we should be out there teaching and encouraging them to strive for the highest heights. That is why I only mentor youth. They have the eye of the tiger in their eyes and they are ready to change the world.
