Destroying the 2nd Amendment
My friend Helen and I started an activist group on facebook in regards to the 300 million guns in the US. Wanted to invite anybody else who is frustrated with this aspect of US culture to join us. Let me know and I'll add you to the group.

I support the 2nd amendment 100%.
The strictest gun laws in the world didn't save Paris or Brussels. Chicago has the strictest gun laws in the land and they lead the land in gun violence and murder.
And then there is this:
THE LARGEST MASS SHOOTING IN US HISTORY HAPPENED December 29,1890. When 297 Sioux Indians at Wounded Knee Creek on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota were murdered by federal agents & members of the 7th Cavalry who had come to confiscate their firearms “for their own safety and protection”. The slaughter began after the majority of the Sioux had peacefully turned in their firearms. The Calvary began shooting, and managed to wipe out the entire camp. 200 of the 297 victims were women and children.
Wounded Knee was among the first federally backed gun confiscation attempts in United States history. It ended in the senseless murder of 297 people.
The Second Amendment, the right of the people to take up arms in defense of themselves, their families, and property in the face of invading armies or an oppressive government. The Second Amendment was written by people who fled oppressive and tyrannical regimes in Europe, and it refers to the right of American citizens to be armed for defensive purposes, should such tyranny arise in the United States.
Wounded Knee is the prime example of why the Second Amendment exists, and why we should vehemently resist any attempts to infringe on our Rights to Bear Arms. Without the Second Amendment we will be totally stripped of any ability to defend ourselves and our families.

Those were different times, obviously. The Founding Fathers didn't write that so it could be used the way it's used today by the NRA. 300 million guns makes our nation a deathtrap.

Yeah, 300 million guns. So let's make them illegal so only criminals have guns. I want every citizen to be armed and get firearms training. I am good with that.

This whole movement reminds me of gym class in school. One person does something 'bad' and the instructor makes the whole class run laps.

Everyone has to accept the fact that they exist. You can't click your heels and repeat three times "There's no place like a gun free zone" and expect them to vanish.

I think everyone can agree that people killing people with guns every day is crazy. But we have to fix it in a 'real' way. Making guns illegal simply gives every criminal an edge. We can't have that. We also can't have any idiot buying AR-15's. If we can have a 'no fly' list we can surely have a 'no buy' list. But people who are on those lists also have to have a way to get a hearing if they believe that they are on that list wrongly. Slogans don't fix anything. Really, it all starts with our fucked up education system and even more fucked up mental health programs. We need to fix this crap now. But really fix it.

I didn't say anything about eliminating all guns. But it starts with the 2nd amendment. It shouldn't be a right, it should be a privelege.

Ban The Automobile(MOST DEADLY TOOL OF ALL)
Mark all vehicles... WARNING: DRIVING IS HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH AND IS THE LEADING CAUSE OF VIOLENT DEATH.
Hell... ban gas cans and firestarter too. The worst LGBT mass murder ever, before the events in Orlando, was done that way in NY City.
Where there’s a will there’s a way... with or without guns.
And I am MUCH safer having my guns than I would be simply “trusting in strangers”. Sorry, Father Time, but protecting myself IS a "right" and NOT a "priviledge".
What SHOULD be “BANNED” is BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS and NUCLEAR WEAPONS... I am all for banning THAT SHIT! The way governments “fail to connect the dots” and “drop the ball” time after time after time... sooner or later we’re gonna hear, “Oops! We let one slip!”
