Few ever stand back to see the big picture.
Just not done.

Ok, I will take that as a nod, its being in it for the long haul, I get your point FT. I think I have enough cycles of the planet and life experience under my belt to pretty much get it, although I see some young people who are so far ahead of where I was at their age, it makes me wonder if I really get it

this seems a vague subject...
there is big and big and big and big...
it varies

'UGE ' UGE , MASSIVE , MONSTROUS, GIGANTIC HUMONGOUS
yes it is kind a cryptic thing posted, perhaps some hieroglyphics would help clarify

well, okay, yeah, that too...
the big picture to an ant is 'eek, feet, hope they don't step on me'
that's if they even notice the big picture...
to the person walking on that sidewalk,
their big picture may not even include a consideration
of 'hey, let me not step on this ant'...
then there's the guys who poured the cement for the sidewalk,
did any of them go 'let's make sure we accommodate not only
people walking on this yet to exist sidewalk, but any ants as well'...
people sort of think about what they think about...
God can probably keep track of all of it,
but then He's got all of Eternity to do so.

well its all about perspective.and of course our own perspective can get skewed. and by stepping back and evaluating things and assessing where we are personally is critical, as well as how others perceive us , the thing is it is sometimes how our actions influence others attitude about us, and how we can sometimes have prejudice, yes important to step back and take in the big big picture, but sometimes we get in the way of ourselves, and block our abiltiy to move forward and thinking we are always right and being judgemental, I have done that,
yup we get in the way of things ,sometimes we get in our own way. by stepping back well it is a way to re-evaluate where we are, to me it is about removing that cloud of doubt or prejudice that opens up the curtain to knowledge of self and about other people. learning about how we work, what and why we act the way we do and react rather then respond with a thoughtful and intelligent approach to things, sometimes knee jerk reactions occur because we dont take in the full picture , being aware of others feelings and ones aspirations or limitations, then once understanding our gifts and areas of expertise then wisdom from these three things gives us insight and an ability to appreciate other people in a manner that is appropriate.
have a great weekend

The really big picture makes me sad, so I try not to see it.

I agree with Bob but of course we all have a different view what that question even means. Is the big picture "all you need is love" or is it "life sucks and then you die" Is it let's all get together and make a better world" or is it: "We're all screwed and there's no hope for humanity". It all depends on one's personal perspective. I support certain causes in various ways but I try to avoid worrying about things over which I have no control or influence. If I dwelled on those things, I wouldn't be able function as I need to.
I always take my son to see the latest Star Wars movie at an IMAX theatre. That's a really big picture.

I agree, very few can feel life in its entire presence. It hurts me to think that most people are too thin and on the surface to live in peace and love, and obsessed with such useless worries. The big picture is for the few wise lived ones, the elders and those who are wise. Wisdom is not given away for free for most. To see and feel the "big picture" takes time, experience and wisdom. The study of every angle and every possibility, every loss and every love. The big picture is a wise picture.

Why yes, I am. But I try to downplay it a bit.
PS,
This, is meant to be humorous.
If you find it offensive,
well, perhaps you need Funny Bunny lessons. Just a thought.
What do I know anyway, I'm a bloody idiot. And yet, oh I have me days.

dont take life too seriously, it is meant to be enjoyed, not endured, sometimes I see that in me, so kick back,.ease on down the road of life. enjoy the ride. take a walk on the wild side of nature, breathe breathe
