What's the craziest thing you've ever done in the name of art?
You can define crazy any way you want.

live in a concert, or just a song, or other. I have had crazy things happen unintentionally while doing a solo thing, and in a group, although I think I could come up with something I did on purpose. anyways, cool topic

We flew from New Zealand to an IAC conference in LA which was then cancelled. Tried to meet with the IAC bosses at the time but they hid from me!
It cost me thousands of dollars, and taught me about who I could trust. IAC became IMP a few years later, I believe that the year was 2010.
Can anyone here beat that for stupidity / craziness ?

Now was bringing up that necessary, Rob ? :D
For the record, i had zero to do with that, when you say "they", it wasn't really "they", but stuff like that is why I left, and it's also why we changed the name.

I traveled 3000 miles to form a band that lived and worked on a farm. I was obsessed with THE BAND, their music and how they made the album "Music From Big Pink."

Dressed up in 50s garb greased back brylcream hair chain hanging from my belt sunglasses on laid down a set 50s tunes aka big bopper chantilly lace great balls of fire and others for a variety show in the 80s it was a riot people who knew me did not recognise me I think I was the best act there and got the biggest cheers hollers and reaction fun times. I think I know how to capture people's attention and entertain

I was billed playing last in the show. So they saved the best act as the last,MOI the reaction was numerous people running up to the stage going whaaaaat just happened, who is this, the reveal was shocking, haha . high drama, great energy. a star for the night and probably the only time as a solo artist I get that kind of reaction. now back to smoking cigarettes and playing smooth jazz groove piano in a laid back bar where people drink and give you tips in your jar, play it again, sam er bry
