the technological gods know the truth
Somewhere there is a spaceship containing an elder species of aliens who know the truth about matters some consider subjective.
They have every song ever created on a list from best to worst. On that list A Day in The Life is near the top and Revolution 9 is near the bottom. Some of us indies come in surprisingly high on that list.
They also rate all the guys and girls based on both looks and intangibles. Like Neil Young needs a unit to sample and hold.
Somewhere there is a universal truth on every event and unit ever created or born, earth is the place where mediocrity rises to the top, they refer to it as "that planet" where everything turned out bassackwards.

Well I agree with your evaluation in part FT, there is a lot of mediocre music and throw away disposable music in this day and age, not like it should be, but it is what is being trotted out and featured on platforms like spotify and the like and I listen there a lot as you do, as well as here at IMP, the hours I invest is probably too much, but it is one of my passions, now saying that I am no expert, but do have a lot listening experience and believe we are in an age where stuff is just being thrown out indiscriminately and the labels who control platforms like spotify are to blame for allowing this to happen
Yet, there is still some very good music and young guns that are developing and coming out with great music that we dont hear at IMP, this is a good place, but not quite the center of the universe, yet
