some thoughts on your Golden Kayak nominations
ok, the best way to approach it might be to do one or 2 categories every day. You can go to the genre charts to see what you have to choose from, just remember to go to songpage and check the date before you type it onto your form to make sure it qualifies.
This is your best chance to have some say on who the winners are. Voting is a far more easier procedure than nominating but nominating is where you get to make sure good songs don't get neglected.
Show your indie spirit and participate.

Good suggestions, I generally follow that guideline , also I print out a couple copies of the nomination list. one which gets messy, and the other less messy :) it does take a concerted effort, but then maybe people already know who in their mind fits the category and have a head start, I have some ideas, and stream the new songs on my stations and invest even more time listening and thinking about it, then again, I could be way off the mark and none of my own picks may never show up, but at least I do it..
good luck to everyone and have fun picking your nominations.

I start off with writing down 2-3 choices. then listen more, then get it down to the one. some I already know or feel who I think would be a deserving candidate, but always listen again and include others , not easy with so much to choose from. so looks like my usual listening time devoted for stations is going to be nixed. then again I may find new songs to add to them, should be fun

Hi Bryon! I need to print out the categories and study them. So far I have just had time to glance at them. I am 100% certain you will get at least one nomination from me, sir!
