If you are born in Peterhead low expectations are par for the course if you do not belong to the in crowd. I got used to it and did my own thing. There are no rules only what you believe in. My biggest rule is don't fucking die on me body

The key to a happy life? For me? Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Reason, Cubase, Soundforge, my instruments, good weed and my wife. Being grateful and appreciative for everything and everyone. All of that makes me happy.

1) Die Early And Unexpectedly!
2)...while being "ON TOP OF THE WORLD" or "In th' throngs of HAPPINESS"!
Which of these would be better...
1)attain your goals and live 3yrs in total joy and die therein?
2)or live beyond those 3yrs and then... Suffer great loss, find great misery and discover depression. And finding no reward any longer in your goal's attainment, you live out your remaining days thinking of suicide?
If you're at #2 all that's left is "hope" and "faith" that things get better...
and maybe you'll even reminisce about how good it would have been to have died all those years ago.
As "good" as all that stuff above sounds(haha) I've found that "other people" can bring me "Happiness". Somehow, empathy allows one to experience "another person's happiness"... at least for me it does. But then maybe I am living in a fantasy world... which in itself is good(so far). -M-

Isn't life supposed to be going to great gigs all your days. If you are not going to a gig you are preparing to go to a gig. My latest one is King Gizzard and the lizard wizard the next one is The LCD Soundsystem in May.

And who i have wanted to see forever the The Eels in June. Who says live music is dead. I made all my concert money back by buying limited edition stuff at the concert and selling it on ebay. Anything colored vinyl if you can get the band to sign it. Some bands mingle other don't. I always did

my key to a happy life is to focus on feeling good regardless of what's going on in your life. Focusing on what's going right in my life, focusing on good things, events, circumstances, little and big blessings, watching funny stuff, being grateful for what you have. Learning to be happy long before you make your dream come true. Feeling the joy about it before it happens.
