well the new player is now working and your songs will play on devices!
Thanks for being so patient about this, folks. We're still in beta mode so there might be a few bugs, email me and let me know if you spot any.
Thanks to the techie who busted his hump to make this happen.

I'd add that it's probably a good idea to upload images with your songs if you haven't as those look pretty good on the player.

Thank you so much for this, it'll make it so much easier for me to take part in so much more. Well done, I didn't think it would happen. Hope it helps the site to get even more people to stop by and stay

Yea yea yea!! That's the best news ever. I'm away so much in my live-in vehicle with just my tablet or phone and it is brilliant to be able to listen to new tracks away from home! Thanks a million for this - I'm impressed!!!

Very Cool! I guess? I only listen on my Mac or PC. Don't use any other devices but I assume from the responses that this is really good news. Great job!

Awesome Scott (and unnamed techie who busted his hump to make this happen) !!
Works on Chrome, MSIE on my PC and Chrome on my Droid Mini... I'll try it on the wife's Apple stuff and report back.
Give the anonymous techie a few days off to recover.
Let us know when you're ready to provide an export link.
Any guides on image dimensions? The aspect ratio is obviously different than our little 70 X 70 thumbs and the 400 X 400 biggies.
In order to save on coding time (and this is only a guess) to avoid having to rewrite page templates (song, artist and station - not to mention charts, etc. etc.), would it be easier to create a new folder in the artist area for player images? That way only the now recuperated techie has to change his call-up for the images... poor guy.
By the way, it sounds great too. Lots of nice touches.
Kudos and thanks to all,
Glenn

Yup, works on her I-Phone and her MacBook.. I have no idea where the I-Pad went, but when I see it I'll give it a try too....

Recommended player image dimensions are 480 by 270, or a 16:9 aspect ratio.

I don't want to seem computer illiterate, but how do you do this if I want to put one of my stations on my iPhone. I play music, I don't do much computers.
I'm looking all over for instructions on HOW to put the player on a device.
How do you copy the generated code to the phone?
Where do I put the url info?

I never had a smart phone but wouldn't you just send a link to the station and whoever you sent it to could load it on their phone browser?
