Great interview Chandra! You have so many really cool tales to tell. I love what you said about a drop of the ocean being a connection - beautifully put. Also, really interesting about the history of Sabar drumming and how it takes the form of song writing for you. I love that song Rain rain.

Oh thanks guys - Scott made it easy by asking some unexpected questions that made me think "on my feet" so to speak rather than just some blah blah!

We were lucky too that the Skype connection was brilliant - I was sitting in my car and it was like he was sat next to me chatting - that made it easy too - would have been tricky with a bad connection!

Look forward to hearing others!

I found the songwriting group I attended so helpful as it gave me a weekly focus. I'm going to try and set up a women's songwriting group in Bristol in the autumn. Both to support new songwriters as well as give myself a shot in the creative arm hopefully!
