What would you do if you had this opportunity...
a short set at some sort of indie spotlight show where the world would be watching.
You could play 2 of your own songs and 1 cover song.
What songs would you play?

My cover would be the James Brown song "It's a man's world" which I completely changed into This is Jillianne's world It's like my signature song.
I would have to perform what I consider my best all round song Up on my high horse because it says a lot about me and it also has some clever rhythms and changes.
Lastly I'd throw in a song with an interesting story like Buy a ticket to the Sun I'd like to end on a positive high as I have so many introspective downer songs that just aren't entertaining.
Of course I've changed my set before I even click submit :)

I probably would cover the Perry Como song:
"Catch a Falling Star"
because it would be unexpected and fun.
My own songs:
First off, I would play
"We Made It To the Middle"
because I think it's one of the best things that I've ever written.
And, I'd close with
"The Yummy Song"
because it always seems to be a hit and gets a great reaction from every single crowd to whom I've played it.

Probably Fly me to the Moon as a cover, or the licensed cover I did on Light my fire
not doing the links on my originals below, no time leaving for a spell have to hit the road, will do later, I know Lyin Dan will scold me for doing so, even though I know how. lol

I'd play Virtual Star, and possibly And You Call Yourself A Rebel.
cover song ? The one that comes to mind right now is Elton's Have Mercy On The Criminal.
